Refund Policy

Overview

1.1 This Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the conditions and procedures under which refunds may be issued for one-on-one consultations conducted through InsightEd (“Platform”).

1.2 All Students (Prospective University Applicants) and Mentors (University Students offering consultations) are expected to review this Policy before engaging in services on the Platform.

Eligibility for Refunds

2.1 Cancellation by the Mentor: If a Mentor cancels a confirmed session or fails to attend at the scheduled time, the Student will receive a full refund of all fees paid for that session, unless the Student elects to reschedule with the same or another Mentor at no additional cost.

2.2 Cancellation by the Student: If the Student cancels within the permitted withdrawal period—defined as 14 calendar days from the date of booking and no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled session date—the Student may be entitled to a full or partial refund, subject to the extent of services already rendered prior to cancellation.

2.3 Platform-Initiated Cancellations: InsightEd may cancel a session due to technical issues, policy violations, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the Student will receive a full refund or, alternatively, the option to reschedule their session at no extra charge.

Requesting a Refund

3.1 Refund Request Procedure: Users may request a refund by contacting the InsightEd Team via email at support@insighted.com. Refund requests should include the booking reference, reason for the refund, and any supporting evidence.

3.2 Timeframe for Requests: Refund requests must be submitted no later than 7 days before the session date, or within 14 days of booking, whichever occurs earlier.

Refund Processing

4.1 Verification: Upon receiving a refund request, the Platform will verify the claim by reviewing session logs, Mentor notes, or any relevant records.

4.2 Decision: A determination on the refund request will be provided within 2 business days of receiving all necessary information. The Platform's decision is final and binding.

4.3 Payment Method: Approved refunds will typically be credited back to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the Student's financial institution.
